Chapter 27

Good walking is without track or trace
Good speaking is without flaw or error
Good counting does not use tallies or rods
Good closing is without bolt or bar
But can not be opened
Good tying is without rope or string
But can not be untied
Therefore the Sage
Is always good at saving men
Since he does not reject men
Is always good at saving things
Since he does not reject things
The so-called following the light
So
One is a good man
Who teaches a bad man
One is a bad man
Who is a lesson for a good man
Not esteeming one's teacher
Not loving one's lesson
Though he is wise he is greatly confused
The so-called essential secret
