Chapter 55

Embodying the richness of Virtue
Is like being a newborn child
Poisonous insects not sting
Wild beasts not pounce
Preying birds not grasp
Bones weak muscles soft
But a grip firm
Has not known the union of male and female
But his penis is erect
The utmost of essence indeed
To the end of the day he wails
But does not grow hoarse
The utmost of harmony indeed
To know harmony is called constancy
To know constancy is called light
Adding to your life is called a blessing
Heart controlling breath is called strength
Things grow strong then grow old
It is said this is not the Way
But what is not the Way comes to an early end
